This six-minute video was recorded while I was part of the AJ Ambassador course, an experience I’m deeply grateful for, as A.J. became a true role model to me. It was also the first time I shared a lesson in English after years of teaching only in Italian. I’ve kept the video just as it was — simple and genuine — because that’s exactly when this website began.

I’m Julia, a passionate math and physics teacher with years of experience helping students succeed, not by memorizing—but by truly seeing.

I created L-Math as a safe, quiet place for learners who want to feel confident again.

Because math isn’t just numbers—it’s a language. And I’d love to help you speak it with joy and confidence, awakening the best in you as I strive to do with each of my students. For me, teaching means not only guiding through math, but reaching minds, hearts, and hands through kinesthetic lessons.

I met Prof Quintilio in the summer of 2018 in Alghero, after my first year of high school in Rome with teachers who lacked passion and professionalism. From that summer on, it was her who got me into gear in both Mathematics and Physics.
The most important thing is that, in addition to improving my mathematical and scientific skills, Prof Quintilio also contributed enormously to my development as a person: it was also thanks to the improvement in those two subjects and a newfound self-esteem that I entered the IB program in an American college in 2019.
The IB program is famous for its advanced study method, and I want you to know that Prof Quintilio uses the same teaching method: I believe this is a great guarantee of quality.
What happened after 2019 (a high school diploma score 8 points above the world average in 2021, a degree in International Relations at the University of Groningen in 2024, admission to the International Security Center at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków) would never have happened without her.
